“Our Failing Economy!” “Times are Tough!” “Billion Dollar Bail-out Plans!” Blah . . . blah . . . blah. Everywhere you turn these days - newspapers, television, the Internet or . . . your neighbor over the fence - it seems that it is all bad news about our economy.

It could get depressing . . . that is, if you choose to buy into it!

Okay, the general economy of the U. S. (and as America goes, so goes the World Economy to a large degree) is hurting right now; but what does that have to do with your “Personal Economy”? Very little . . . if you are a successful Internet marketer and make your money online.

Do you have a financial “victim” mentality? If so, a fundamental concept you’ll need to start to embrace to change that and finally experience true, long-term success and making a high income on the Internet - or off of the Internet for that matter - is the realization that you’re in control. Your success does not rely on what is happening in the economy or other external factors. Top earners always take responsibility for everything that happens in their businesses; they are never mere “victims”.

And, although the high earners I know personally are typically very conscious about limiting their exposure to the news media to avoid the daily dump of its negative into their minds, that doesn’t mean they go through life oblivious to what is going on in the world around them. The opposite is true in fact.

The key difference though, is how they look at that information. Unsuccessful people - the “average Joe or Jane” - allow themselves to be constantly bombarded with a steady diet of doom-and-gloom news headlines and finally throw up their hands in surrender and say, “Oh No! Times are tough; the economy is in the toilet - I better hunker down, bury my wallet in the backyard, ’cause things are going to be miserable for the next decade or so.”

Successful people examine the news with a critical eye and with the mind-set, “How can I make this current situation - boon or bomb - work for me?” Even if they experience temporary financial set-backs, they make adjustments to counter the current economic environment and will continue to grow their incomes and make more money regardless of what happens in Washington or Wall Street.

The reality is, politicians will always promise to change the World and accomplish nothing; Economists will always wring their hands and forecast economic doom-and-gloom; the Media Out-lets will always zealously peddle their daily dose of negativity; and “Joe and Jane Average” will always buy into it and allow it to ruin their day . . . or life.

On the other hand, you - the Internet Entrepreneur in the process of earning a lot of money online - recognize that this fumbling economy is a perfect opportunity for you to get rich!

Like never before, the masses are turning to the Internet in hopes that it can be the salvation to their financial difficulties; they are looking to find ways to make money online. Those of us that have put ourselves into a position of feeding the needs of this famished market have been watching our profits soar!

How can you become part of this market’s Solution? When you answer that question - and take intelligent action on it - you’ll be able to watch your own bank account balance grow at an extremely satisfying rate.

There are a lot of home business ideas that can be pursued by aspiring entrepreneurs. And of course, there is a set especially made for Christians. Devout Christians would like to set up a business which is in line with their faith. Below are some ideas that can be considered.

1.Christian Craft Retailer. You can physically build a big stock of Christian crafts and sell it from home. Or you can just maintain a website, offering these Christian gift ideas. You can acquire these from a company or a cause-oriented group that makes them. Your customers will religious church goers and common parishioners.

2. Christian Bookstore. Just like the Christian crafts retailer business, you can also maintain a store of Christian books as well as others that have inspiring stories in it. You can maintain a store or it can also be done online. Another idea is making an online library. But you should be well aware of the permissions needed and the copyright laws should you prefer to maintain an online library.

3. Christian T-shirt. You can design T-shirts with Bible quotes in them, or put some prints and pictures with biblical origins. Then use your brush and draw your imagination. You can try painting Jesus as he walks through water or as He is teaching the beatitudes. Or you can just paint the mountain and the mustard seed, as in the parable. Anything is drawable. Try it.

Working at home can be very rewarding. Especially if you are performing a personal mission in connection with it. A lot of people have done well in their respective home business fields. You can do the same. Go ahead and test the waters. Who knows, your gold mine could be here!
