UNIQUE PRODUCTS - If only a small percentage of people are going to be interested in your product, there seems to be very little point in spending time and money to market it. You want to find a product that will appeal to the masses. Even better, find a product that is on the cutting edge and has very little competition. Check to see if the product is patented…that way it can’t be copied.

SUPPORT NETWORK - Check out the training program that the Company provides. As a new person, you want all the guidance you can get. There should be no cost to you for this training and it should prepare you well for being a success in your chosen business. The Company should also keep you well informed of any changes in the marketplace so that you can make the necessary adjustments quickly.

SOLID MARKETING SYSTEM - Most MLM and network marketing companies are not known for having great marketing systems. The burden usually falls upon the sponsor. If you were fortunate enough to be signed up by a successful and knowledgeable person, who is willing and able to teach you his methods, then you are one of the lucky ones. However, if you happen to have a sponsor who is one of the top earners in the Company, you might feel a little intimidated, thinking that you do not have what it takes to be just like him. What you really need is a Company that provides a marketing system that runs on automatic pilot.

QUALITY AND SOLID COMPANY MANAGEMENT - Do your research on the founders of the Company, as well as the people they have hired for the top executive positions. Check their credentials to make sure they are qualified in their field. Also read carefully the vision statement for the Company and examine their future plans.

GLOBAL REACH - Today, business is conducted on a worldwide scale on the Internet. Can the product line of the Company you are interested in, expand to other countries? Obviously, there are many products that would be of no use in certain countries. You need to search out a product that not only appeals internationally but will prove to be successful regardless of where the people live.

COMPENSATION PLAN & INCENTIVES - Many are so enthusiastic about the product line, that they spend very little time researching the compensation plan. This can be a costly mistake. Lets look at an example. We have two companies with very similar products and lets say that your goal is to make $3,000 a month. One of the companies might require you to have a downline of 300 people to achieve that goal, while the other company requires a downline of 500 people. Once you have this type of information available to you, you are in a much better position to make a wise decision.

COMPANY PHILOSOPHY - DO THEY SUPPORT THE COMMUNITY - Is the Company involved in any philanthropic programs? Are they trying to make the world a better place to live in some small way? If they are not, then they are not likely to be very giving and considerate when dealing with their own associates and salespeople.

If it’s your goal to be one of these new millionaires, then you owe it to yourself to do the necessary research when choosing an MLM or network marketing company.
