I want to start an affiliate site with merchants who don’t have a program… what software can I use?

June 30th, 2009 by admin

I have a web idea that involves me listing products along a similar theme from a variety of merchants who I would find… however most of them probably won’t have an affiliate program. Is there software I can use to make it easy for them to join my site/pay me a percentage of revenues that I lead them to? I can find plenty of affiliate sites… but none that allow the affiliate to recruit the seller as I am planning on doing.

Probably Wordpress would work with one of their many plugins.

do i have to have an web host?

June 29th, 2009 by admin

do you have to have an web host to be an affiliate marketer i want to use click bank affiliate program and im wondering do i have to have an web host for that ? so with that being said cant i Just have a website out on the net with out and web hosting program and remember i want to be an affiliate marketer can someone please help me im a newbie of course thank you :)
If you are not going to use google adwords, you don't need your own website but if you plan to market on adwords, you will need web hosting. Adwords won't allow you to directly use clinkbank link in ads.

However, you can market on hubpages, squidoo without requiring your own website.

If you are looking for webhost, i recommend looking into Chime Host - http://www.chimehost.com/special.html

Should I create a website or a blog?

June 23rd, 2009 by admin

I need to put up a website - or a blog - but I don't know what would be best.
- I'd be publishing 1 to 3 entries a day, in two languages (on two separate "pages") - but not in a "blog manner" (Infact, I'd be directing towards a "real" blog too)
- I'd need to send a newsletter once a week and have a good "search" function
- I'd want it to be very well referenced by Google, etc
- I'd be putting in banners, advertising, affiliate programs, etc.

Do I need to set up a website for this or can I get a good result with a blog? At the moment my knowledge concerning html, css, cms, etc is not "professional", but I was aiming at setting up a website. Is a blog a better / possible way to go?

Thank you for your help !

P.S. Also - if I was to go the easy way - does anyone know if websites/blogs done with iWeb have any chance of being referenced?

You can have both together. Some web hosts offer blog tools (wordpress).

As you may know a domain name is just a name, not a real website. If you are going to create your website: 1- Buy a domain name. A domain name is a name you want to call your website. To get a domain name, you have to pay an annual fee to a registrar for the right to use that name. 2- Buy a web hosting service to provide your online space and enable you to get your website online at your purchased domain name.

If you want to start your website I recommend purchase your domain and hosting together. In this way it is possible to get your domain for free. Some hosting services offer this gift today.

As an experienced webmaster I recommend BlueHost service which I’m sure it would work for you and fulfill all your requirements. They have a really great offer for hosting & I have used them for over 3 yrs now, and have never had a single problem with them.

They are a Multi-awarded Web Hosting which offer a Full-featured service only $6.95. You can see their Plan Details accompanied with reliable reviews regarding their service at:

They also offer "Free Site Builder" that helps you build your web pages without difficulty if you are not skilled in using any website creating program. (WYSIWYG: What You See Is What You Get) You can use this service optionally.

What are Affiliate "Payout Requirements"? How does it differ from commission type?

June 23rd, 2009 by admin

I am thinking about joining an affiliate program for a web host, But I am unclear about the terminology. What is a "Payout Requirement"??

from the name you can notice that it means that you need to meet minimum requirements in order to get paid, it may be a minimum amount to be able to cash out, Anyway, there are types of affiliate program that you can promote, you ca find a list of these programs here:
http://www.zakshow.com/2009/04/16/different-types-of-affiliate-programs/

Commission type stand for the action that you need to accomplish in order to get paid, it can be per lead, per sale or even better by a referral system.

SEO, lead generation, ppc, pp sale, etc etc, i need someone who's really good at it.?

June 18th, 2009 by admin

Where can i find someone who is a freaking rock star at SEO, ppc, affiliate programs type stuff, to promote my company when it gets up and running in a few weeks.

We're a debt settlement company, and we thrive on leads. I know how to do this stuff, i've done it before successfully, i am in the process of building the website right now and implementing the affiliate program , which will have 3 total tiers including yourself as tier 1. we thrive on good qualified leads, and we're willing to compensate very well.

I just really don't have time to make that a focus, and it's not something you can half-assuredly do. I have to run the company.

Of course, this person has to have been making 3-5k per month on their own with affiliate marketing type stuff, and SEO, adwords etc.

Find a way to contact me!

Here you go, Mitch

How does one start an online affiliate program website?

June 7th, 2009 by admin

If any one has any information on this subject please let me know. I already understand how to make a website on an intermediate level. I just need the rest of the info. Thanks so much!!

First you will need to get a domain name for your website, then you will need to find a web host for your site.
Commission Junction at www.cj.com has a great affliate program and once you sign up with them you will be allowed to select which products you would like to sell on your website.
The website below has some great web hosts that you can read through and try.

I just made an ebook but no website for it. What affiliate programs do I send my ebook to so I can make money?

June 3rd, 2009 by admin

Do I need a website? Any ideas on how much I should sell it? It's a women's guide to looking good and losing weight naturally. Thanks in advance!

You could have it listed at Clickbank.com. Then other people would promote it for you and you could split the earnings with them.
