What is your opinion on affiliate programs?

I was wondering if anyone has had experience with affiliate programs, and if so, what their experience has been, good or bad. Also, the best way to choose the right affiliate program and if there are any that you might recommend (or avoid)?

they can give you answers on Affiliate programs. It’s better than Y answers.

Come on, there are all kinds of people on Yahoo Answers and it’s a great place to get answers, you just need to filter for the good ones.
The main consideration in picking affiliate programs to make extra money is your own background. Being an affiliate is nothing more or less than being a salesman. If you’re good at it, you can do well. Of course being good at it is more than just selling, since you use a lot of text to sell, you need to be good at writing sales copy and maybe web design as well as selling.
The best part is it’s free to try.
