How much will it cost to establish a website that takes orders online?
March 31st, 2009 by adminIt does not need to be a large website, but I would like to have the option to expand if the opportunity arises. Also I will need to acquire a web address. I want to participate in affiliate programs as well.
I recommend one of these: http://www.hosttell.com/
Powweb is on a 50% sale two more days, and you get a free domain from them.
Godaddy doesn’t offer a free domain, but you can get one for $2.19 if you’re buying hosting from them, plus they also have a 20% sale at the moment.

Depends what you need. If you can set the site up yourself, it’ll be cheaper. GoDaddy.com has domains for $7-10/year and starting at $3.99 a month for hosting.
A well-designed site with selling capabilities can cost anyone from $500 and up (typically over $1,000).

Your crazy, there are tons of people on craigslist and places that would love to build you a website, the actual cost of the site will be estimated by person you contract. A good site, costs like 600+, you also need more then just a graphics designer, I suggest a php programmer. Or you can really just do it all yourself if your are smart and use OSCmax.

You’re probably looking at about $100 for a domain name and hosting, per year. You can get deals on that, though…
As far as the website goes, it depends on what you really need. I’d guess somewhere between $250 - $1000 if you’re not doing anything too crazy. Upwards of $100,000 if you’ve got some very specific, complicated requirements.

I would start off Basic, with Paypal and hire a freelancer from a site like Elance.com, Your domain name is going to cost about $10/year I would get it from smallbusiness.yahoo.com Web hosting for what you are going to need will probably start around $10/month (unless you pay for 3 year periods or so) and unless you know how to program yourself you will need to hire a programmer who will charge depending on how much work it will take. I’m a programmer of websites but am a bit busy at the moment, i’d look at a Freelance site.

bluehost.com is a good choice - something like 100 bucks a year.
