How to get more website traffic?
May 21st, 2009 by adminI have a website "Joe's Garage Sale" Selling items like an online virtural garage sale. I have links to GOOGLE ADSENSE and have tried the affiliate programs with no luck (in the financial dept ect.) I need to get more web traffic. What should I do? I am trying to sell off my stuff to survive after a home fire/divorce ect. Needing the income badly. Any help would be appreciated.

advertise your site and make it known to industries who are offering the same products as you and let them know how and what differs you from the rest. constant content updates would also be effective. actually there are still a lot of stuffs to work on to attain that. asks experts..

5. Use keywords liberally on your site, so long as they are used in the correct context of your site topic and content.

you have to be careful of traffic exchange programs because they are against adsenses terms of service. i use the site link referral. its a little different then traffic exchange. basically you put your site on there then each day you view up to 30 sites, review 5, add 1 favorite and make 1 forum post and in return your site gets posted in the top 10 of its category therefore you get hits from people interested in that category. I get about 30 hits a day. its all free too. I havent referred anyone yet so I'm not sure how that helps but hopefully you'll be my first lol

You need to build backlinks by writing articles and other social media tools. I saw a recent report that explains it more in depth and also talks about ways to automate it…which makes life a lot easier. Especially if you own more than one website. I downloaded it for free…I'm sure you can too.
