every summer i see these ads to be a mystery shopper and u get paid for it. Is it a scam and can u make decent money from it.

I know there are many sites that you can pay for and they say that they well give you jobs, but I would like to see if there is anyone out there who knows from experience. I do not want to spend money on something that does not work. I am in Dallas, Tx.
