Do you think this is a work at home scam?

has anyone been paid for work assignments done for Make Sunday, LLC?
they are a personal assistant company. They have a website but none of the links for press work and all references to them have been deleted off Job Vent. Think it is a scam. I have done 2 assignments, but still don’t know if I will be paid the $600/wk they promise. In this economy there are a lot of scams that say they will pay you to work at home. I don’t see any other references to the company other than their own website.
I just began to work with them. Their office is in NYC on Park Ave, right? Their website messes up with English and German, maybe?
Anyhow, I just began my 2nd job when they wanted me to use my bank account to get a wired payment into it to pay for something abroad…. my instinct said NO WAY! and I just sent them an email telling them that their excuse for using my bank account was not welcomed, when Western Union will accept payments of up to $7500 over the phone with a service charge of $340 or if you take it to an agent and use your debit / credit card the service charge will be $225.
I basically told them that business transactions have to be honest and based on integrity. I have yet to build trust with them and they are asking me to give them my bank account number? Are they joking or what? and proceeded to tell them that I’m fine ending my services to them right here. If I am still in probationary period…. maybe they should step in and take over!
Oh yes, they were luring me with a bonus payment of $300 by using my bank account! It’s not about the money anymore…. it’s integrity.
I began looking the www for Make Sunday, LLC. but couldn’t find anything on them until now. Thanks for putting that question up!

"he wants me to cash the checks at my bank (sounds fishy)."
That’s the scam. He’s obscured it pretty well with the rest of the job description. You deposit his cheque and draw new cheques against it, which you’ll send to him (whether you know it or not). His cheque bounces, yours clears, and you’re on the hook to your bank for the entire amount.
This is a total scam. Your bank will cash the check but it will turn out to be a bad check and you will be responsible for repaying the money that you forward to his clients(actually him)
The bank will take all the money out of your account to cover the bad checks.
PLEASE DO NOT DO THIS. IT IS A SCAM. YOU WILL LOSE ALL OUR MONEY.
Unless you live in the U.k. I would NEVER do business with someone who lives in a different country from me and NEVER do business unless you never met this person face to face and shake hands on a business deal. Scam.
don’t do it! if it smells like a scam, it probably is! if the U.S. dollar is so weak, why would he want to cash checks in the U.S. and then have you send them out of country? it also seems like hes "willing" to direct deposit your "pay." you know when you apply for a job they need your full name, mothers maiden name, address, and social. so imagine if that gets into the wrong hands. at my job when i wanted to get my check deposited i had to give my employer a voided check. a voided check still has your routing number and account number on it. once he recieves that your screwed! he’ll be making fake checks with that info. he’s just disguising this scam, he wants to put in all the "positive" info first. also i think anyone can post job ads on yahoo, i dont think they charge for that. to summarize DO NOT do it.
"If a company requires initial payment from you in order to work for them, they are not legitimate."
There are a few legitimate data entry companies but are not hiring and have large waiting lists (1-2yrs). The majority of data entry jobs you seen online are scams. A real company will want you to have skills inc fast typing, may want you to know MS Excel, and will usually ask that you have high speed internet. Once in a long while you may found one online on a job website but thats rare.
If you do an advanced search on yahoo, you will find previous answers, sometimes the info on these is good as the info they gave is likely to have been verified if the answer was voted as ‘Best’.
