Life choices – any advise welcome?
Hi,
I’m 23 and have been with my boyfriend for 5 years. We used to live near each other but 2 years ago he moved 200 miles away from where I live for his job. I have just finished uni and have taken a well paid job which is 40 miles from my house. Its not the most exciting job in the world and it takes me over an hour to get there everyday and then I travel 200 miles to see my boyfriend almost every weekend. I still live at home with my parents and my friends all live near me. I’m considering looking for a new job near my boyfriend to live with him but in the climat I’m not sure how easy it will be to find a similar paying job. I am also not sure if it such a good idea to look for jobs now that I have just started this job. (I did a work placement year as part of my uni course and this is where I now work full time as a graduate as they offered me a position and I did not actively look for this job). Any advise is welcome as I am so confused about my future. Thanks in advance.
Follow your heart, now that your education is finished. As you said with the economy as it is, it will be hard to find a job close to where your bf live. But get yellow pages in that area and keep firing out the the resumes especially if your bf job is secure. Most people would not want to take a pay cut, but two can live cheaper than one.
